The West Houston Community Center (WHCC) hosts the self-help and outreach programs of Alcoholics Anonymous, Cocaine Anonymous, Fellowship of Memorial, Family Point Resources, Mosaic Theatre Company, the Palmer Drug Abuse Program and Young Life. Our initiative to help others grew from a ministry established about 1968 to provide independent facilities for community service programs.
The WHCC Building opened in June of 2003, a 12,000 square foot facility, situated on a 1¼ acre site. It includes meeting rooms, offices, an auditorium, a recreation room and snack bar. WHCC's design is intended to reinforce its purpose by being a comfortable, welcoming structure that accommodates a variety of uses by many groups.
