Marci Regan Dallas - Executive Director
Marci Regan Dallas has a strong background in arts leadership, fundraising, and financial management. Marci holds an MBA and an MA in Art History. She is a graduate of Christie's Art and Business program as well as the Leadership Institute for Nonprofit Executives at Rice University's Center for Philanthropy and Nonprofit Leadership. She has previously held administrative, curatorial and development roles in organizations such as The Museum of Modern Art (New York) and Holocaust Museum Houston. She is an active community volunteer, having served on committees for the Association of Fundraising Professionals, Planned Giving Council of Houston and the American Alliance of Museums.
Angela Carranza - Programs + Services Manager
Angela Carranza first joined the Fresh Arts (formerly Spacetaker) team in 2011 as an intern and has served as the Manager of Programs and Services since 2015. She is a cum laude graduate of the University of Houston with a BA in Art History and a minor in Studio Arts. With a strong background in project management, she previously held roles as a faux finisher and interior design consultant. She later partnered with a Houston-based designer and avid art collector serving as the firm’s Project Director and Lead Design Consultant. Focusing on art-centric, creative design solutions for high-end interiors, she also provided art consultation, art inventory management, and visualization services to private collectors.
In her role at Fresh Arts, Angela leverages her professional experience within various art fields to provide career-building support to emerging local artists. She is also an active animal welfare advocate and community outreach volunteer for Barrio Dogs, Inc. and is a newly appointed member of Mayor Turner's Millennial Advisory Board for the City of Houston.

Quang Vu - Communications Intern
Quang Vu is currently a senior at the University of Houston’s Katherine G. Mcgovern College of the Arts and is coming on board as our Summer 2018 Communications Intern. Quang is pursuing a Bachelors of Fine Arts with a concentration in painting and a triple minor in art history, business administration, and excellence in sales. He has a strong devotion to the arts and an interest in business and actively seeks to marry the two in ways that contribute to the people and the institutions that keep the Houston Art community thriving.
As of now, Quang is also serving as the Media and Community Expert for DiverseWorks, where he previously served as an intern. With his role at Diverseworks, Quang conducts fieldwork and research around community involvement aiming to address shared community concerns through artistic social-activism in his home - the Alief community. Additionally, he is the Vice-President of the Blaffer Art Museum Student Association and formerly worked as the gallery intern for the Anya Tish Gallery. For leisure, Quang is a mixed-media painter who makes work that explores queer politics and personal identity in the world of art.
