OUR MISSION IS TO NURTURE AND DEVELOP NEW WORK, NEW ARTISTS, AND NEW AUDIENCES.
We believe that in order for the arts to survive, artists must constantly challenge and reinvent existing forms.
We believe that in order for artists to grow, thrive, and ultimately contribute to the cultural fabric of a community, they need resources and support.
We believe that the performing arts shouldn’t be limited to holidays and special occasions. Rather, performing arts events should be frequent, diverse, and built into the cultural fabric of a community. Our organization aims to engage, educate, inspire and empower our community through the performing arts.
In our space, live performance and arts events of every sort are frequent, diverse, and accessible to all. We produce unconventional, out there, edgy, entertaining, laugh-outloud-til-you-cry, original work including but not limited to concerts, theatre, dance, comedy, podcasts, variety shows, and film screenings.
By providing established artists, as well as young artists, a place to create, we are enabling the development of radical new work that will continue to put Houston on the map.
Performances and events are curated by co-founders Stephanie Wittels Wachs and Matt Hune.
