Writing a Great Grant: An Overview for Individual Artists

Led by Sara Kellner, Independent Art Consultant

For artists seeking a 2014 Individual Artist Grant from Houston Arts Alliance

Tuesday, October 8

6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.

Join Fresh Arts and expert art consultant Sara Kellner for a two-hour in depth presentation on best practices when composing and applying for artist project grants. Our goal with this workshop is to help local artists develop and refine their grant writing skills using the Houston Arts Alliance Individual Artist Grant application as the example. Even if you do not plan to submit your proposal to the Houston Arts Alliance later this fall, this overview will be a fantastic opportunity to develop your thoughts about your work and your grant-writing skills overall. Sara will also offer a review of other opportunities for artists to raise or apply for funds.
