Join us Wednesday, March 8th 2017, 6-10pm for a literary evening featuring this year's Writefest workshop instructors, who will read excerpts of their work in a variety of genres. The reading will start at 7pm, but we'd love for you to join us as early as 6 pm to enjoy a $4-Beers Happy Hour hosted by Holler Brewing Co., Sawyer Yard's newest brewery. Local food truck Pita Bites will be on site.

Writefest is a week-long writers festival taking place March 6-12th, 2017 in Houston, TX. It is hosted by Writespace, Houston's grassroots nonprofit literary arts center. The festival kicks off with a series of Monday-Thursday workshops and culminates in a weekend filled with panels and presentations by local and national writers and literary journal editors of all genres, a Literary Journal Fair, and readings by local and nationally-recognized authors.For more information about the festival, visit www.writefesthouston.com or @WritefestTX.
