As the Bread Factory rehearses Euripides’ play, Hecuba, the real theatrics take place outside where the town has been invaded by tourists and tech start-up workers. Walk with Me a While deals with the theatre’s temporarily resolved budget issues, but addresses inevitable changes impacting the community. Film Comment called the movie “formally subversive,” and the Hollywood Reporter proclaimed that it “rivals Altman at his best.”
