FOOD CHAINS and LOVE ON THE LINE co-presented with Molly Gochman's Red Sand Project

Red Sand Project is a multi-disciplinary activist artwork by Molly Gochman that uses earthwork installations, participatory sidewalk interventions and convenings to raise awareness about human trafficking. Border, USA|MX is an evolving Red Sand Project installation in the shape of border that separates the United States from Mexico to highlight the challenges faced by immigrants and refugees who come to this country in search of a better life, and are often exploited.

Aurora Picture Show and Artist and Activist Molly Gochman will co-host a free evening of participatory art and an outdoor film screening. The outdoor screening will feature the short film Love On the Line by Alex Rivera and Food Chains, a feature length documentary by Sanjay Rawal.

Located at 1302 Dennis Street in Houston, the event is intended to highlight and provoke action against the rampant human trafficking in Texas and worldwide. #RedSandProject
