Around the World with Young Audiences of Houston: The Story of the Lone Star State

at Miller Outdoor Theatre

This original production by InterActive Theatre Company takes a bite out of Texas history, portraying 600 years of Texas tales in 45 minutes. From Indian folklore to Hispanic heritage and the many cultures and peoples that have shaped our state, four actors play more than 50 roles.  The audience has a chance to volunteer on stage, answer questions and offer suggestions to the actors. Presented by Young Audiences of Houston.

Miller Outdoor Theatre, where performances are always free, has entertained and delighted several generations of Houstonians. Pack a picnic basket, a blanket or lawn chair to enjoy the performance from the hill, or sit in the brand new seats under the canopy.  For information on maps, parking, etc., please consult the "Plan Your Visit" section of the Miller Outdoor Theatre Web site www.milleroutdoortheatre.com or call (281)373-3386.
