Join Fresh Arts in raising a glass (and some funds) for our friends Art Colony Association on Thursday, December 5th from 5:00 to 8:00pm for Cultured Cocktails at Bar Boheme.
Grab a refreshing cocktail and learn more about Art Colony’s mission to provide unique art experiences and education for the greater Houston community by bringing diverse artists to urban Bayou City Art Festivals and supports local non-profit organizations. About Art Colony Association:
Established in 1972, the Art Colony Association, Inc. (“ACA”) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to producing high quality art festivals and events to provide financial support to local nonprofit organizations. Over the past 48 years, the Art Colony Association, producer of The Bayou City Art Festival Downtown in the fall and Bayou City Art Festival Memorial Park in the spring, has raised 3.6 million dollars in support local nonprofit organizations. The Festivals are funded in part by grants from the City of Houston and through Houston Arts Alliance.
About Cultured Cocktails:
Fresh Arts’ Cultured Cocktails fundraising program has been raising a glass to the arts every Thursday for more than decade! Hosted at Boheme Café & Wine Bar, this community building happy hour features a different artist or arts group offering a weekly opportunity to get up close and personal with the artists that make Houston unique! Plus 10% of all drink sales from 5:00 to 8:00pm directly support the featured artist.
Since its inception in 2008, the Cultured Cocktails program has raised more than $120,000 for hundreds of local artists and arts organizations.
