CULTURED COCKTAILS ARTS DISTRICT HOUSTON WINTER HOLIDAY ART MARKET (WHAM)
Hosted at Boheme Café & Wine Bar every Thursday from 5-8pm, this special arts happy hour doubles as a community-building fundraiser that benefits a different local artist or arts group each week.  More info...


Fresh Arts is headquartered in and is the managing partner of the Arts District. This unique partnership includes artist-centered initiatives that help build capacity audiences, and shared resources for the artists and creative businesses that compose the district. More info...

In its mission to provide artists access to economic development and networking opportunities to support their professional growth, Fresh Arts hosts its annual Winter Holiday Art Market (WHAM), a weekend art sale and celebration of Houston's talented and diverse arts each November at Winter Street Studios




  SKILL-BUILDING INITIATIVES  

Through a mix of curriculum, workshops, and round tables Fresh Arts resource sharing and skill-building programs offer ways for artists to learn practice skills that will complement and advance their professional creative practices, while sparking peer-to-peer dialogues & collaboration. 


ARTIST INC HOUSTON FISCAL SPONSORSHIP WORKSHOPS + INFO SESSIONS
Limited to twenty-five participants, ARTIST IN HOUSTON is an annual training seminar in which artists gather for one night a week for eight weeks to learn business skills specific to their art practice and apply those skills cooperatively with their peers. The seminar is hosted once per year in the spring and is open to any artist of any discipline. More info...

FISCAL SPONSORSHIP unlocks support for individual artists and collectives existing outside of traditional nonprofit models. Through the Fiscal Sponsorship program, Fresh Arts can open the door to new streams of support for our city’s independent artists, while providing fiscal oversight for utilizing charitable funds, as well as consultation services to enhance their professional skills. Fresh Arts' CAREER BUILDING WORKSHOPS offer Houston’s artists and emerging arts organizations a “nuts and bolts” approach to their creative business, supplying them with the knowledge and takeaway resources to immediately put what they’ve learned into action.
