Registration is now open for the Fresh Arts Summit, July 19-20 at Silver Street Studios in the heart of Arts District Houston.

The Fresh Arts Summit is a 2-day conference offering 20+ skill-building workshops, expert lectures, artist panels + round table discussions, and peer-to-peer learning opportunities. The Summit is ideal for emerging to established artists, makers, and creatives of all disciplines who seek to advance their entrepreneurial skills, expand the peer network, and tap into local resources.


The Fresh Arts Summit will take place over two days and kickoff with an Arts Resource Day Expo, artist panels, cocktail reception and keynote address. The following session day will offer an intensive learning day of skill-building workshops, round table discussions, “Mentor Power Hours” and “Creative Break” activities designed to motivate and inspire creative learning. 

Topics will include arts marketing and self-promotion, financial management + fundraising, copyrights + legal resources, and other topics related to arts entrepreneurship. Sessions led by over two dozen organizational partners and field experts including practicing artists and other creative leaders working in the arts community.



Early-bird Registration (until 6/22): $125

Registration fee includes meals and all summit materials.

Fresh Arts is offering full and partial scholarships to local/regional artists in need. To apply, please fill out the application below, and we will send results by the end of June. To qualify for a scholarship, candidates must exhibit that they face a real financial need, as well as demonstrate commitment to their art. Panelists will evaluate applicant responses, work samples, and potential for growth from the Artist Summit.

Silver Street Studios,

Located in the heart of Arts District Houston, Silver Street is an arts and event complex featuring a 20,000 sq ft event space and 68 creative studios. Since opening, Silver has been home to some of the most exciting festivals, markets, and events in Houston. In addition to rotating fine art exhibitions and public programs throughout the year, Silver Street artists welcome the public into their studios on the Second Saturday of each month.
